Necessary documents to be uploaded: passport, residence permit (front and back), student card, proof of enrollment for the current semester, certificate of deferred graduation (for deferred graduates, please ask the department to open one), proof of payment of fees.
Application Fee: NT$100
Application Deadline:
1. Maximum of 6 months per application
2. The first semester (fall semester, usually from September to January): you can apply until March 31st.
3. The next semester (spring classes, usually February to June): you can apply until September 30th
Proof of enrollment: Download the format here, "Application for Certificate of Attendance in Chinese (Free)", please go to the Registrar's Office to have it stamped and dated.
It is illegal to work without a work permit. You will be fined.
The maximum number of hours you can work during the semester is 20 hours per week. It is illegal to work more than that.
A work permit is also required to apply for scholarships on campus (awards require service).
