On Monday, June 23, 2025, a delegation from GLA University, India, visited the University of Taipei to deliver a special lecture aimed at promoting academic exchange between Taiwan and India. The event was organized by the Office of International Affairs, with Professor Song-Hsien Chen and students from the Department of Physics and Chemistry in attendance.

During the lecture, representatives from GLA University shared recent developments in the fields of engineering, technology, and applied research, as well as the university’s initiatives in international cooperation and student mobility. Following the presentation, both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion, introducing their respective research projects and exploring potential directions for future collaboration.

GLA University also extended a warm invitation to faculty and students of the University of Taipei to apply for short-term exchange programs, offering an opportunity to experience Indian higher education and culture firsthand.

This event reflects the University of Taipei’s commitment to expanding partnerships in South Asia and marks another important step toward deepening practical academic cooperation between the two institutions.
