臺北市立大學與美國南猶他大學初步合作洽談

臺北市立大學於2025年9月19日與美國南猶他大學（Southern Utah University, SUU）舉行實體交流會議，由南猶他大學 Jack Yang 教授代表出席。會中，雙方就未來合作模式與學術交流方向進行初步討論。美方並表示，將於2025年10月1日由副校長及國際事務長率團親自來訪本校，以進一步確認合作細節。

本次會議特別聚焦於雙聯學位合作議題，未來將邀請本校有意參與的系所主任共同討論，以提升學生跨國學習的便利性與吸引力。雙方並確認，於下次來訪時進行學校及系所簡介，並以簽署合作備忘錄（MoU）為後續目標，推動師生互訪、跨國研究與學術合作。

 

University of Taipei and Southern Utah University Hold Preliminary Collaboration Meeting

On September 19, 2025, the University of Taipei (UT) held an in-person meeting with Southern Utah University (SUU), represented by Professor Jack Yang. During the meeting, the two institutions engaged in preliminary discussions regarding potential models of cooperation and future directions for academic exchange. The SUU delegation also announced that on October 1, 2025, the Vice President and the Director of International Affairs will personally visit the University of Taipei to further confirm the details of the partnership.

This meeting placed particular emphasis on the topic of dual-degree programs. Moving forward, department chairs interested in participating will be invited to join discussions, with the aim of enhancing opportunities and accessibility for students seeking international learning experiences. Both sides also agreed to present introductions to their respective institutions and departments during the upcoming visit. As a subsequent goal, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be pursued to promote faculty and student exchanges, cross-border research, and broader academic collaboration.
