Activity Theme: "2026 High Educational Fair in Hong Kong and Cross-Strait Overseas Academic Institution Exchange Program"
Activity Time: Thursday, 14th May 2026 to Monday, 18th May 2026
Activity Introduction:
The overall execution of the participating in the "2026 High Educational Fair in Hong Kong and Cross-Strait Overseas Academic Institution Exchange Program" achieved outstanding results. Seizing the critical timing of the "Academic Year 2026 Independent Admissions for Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, and Macau Students (Second Cohort)," our university successfully established a core promotion platform to expand enrollment. This was accomplished through a dual-track model consisting of deep engagement with local secondary schools and on-site consultations at the Hai Hwa Services Foundation.
According to on-site practical observations, Hong Kong students demonstrated a strong motivation to study abroad, expressing profound interest in diverse fields at our university, such as Earth and Environmental Bioresources, Business Administration, History and Geography, and Visual Arts. Regarding the variables in studying abroad decisions, their preferences tilted heavily toward "comprehensive scholarship packages" and "practical curriculums aligned with career demands," reflecting a highly pragmatic mindset. Furthermore, the interactions on the same platform with peer universities, including National Chi Nan University and Tamkang University, not only helped us grasp the latest pulses of the higher education market but also facilitated substantive cross-institutional strategic dialogues.
Moving forward, our university will implement "precision targeting" to recruit outstanding students to study in Taiwan through diverse channels.
