The first event of this semester’s International Student Final Career Series, titled “Career Clinic for Staying in Taiwan,” was successfully held on June 2. The Office of International Affairs extends its appreciation to all students for their enthusiastic participation, despite the busy final exam period, and for actively engaging in discussions on career planning, demonstrating strong awareness and initiative toward future development.

The event adopted an interactive and informal discussion format and invited Mr. Lin Chih-Fu, CEO of Yuan Bang International Brand Consulting Co., Ltd., to serve as a career advisor. Through conversational sharing and experience-based guidance, students were encouraged to reflect on how to strategically plan their four years of study in Taiwan and to establish clear career development goals at an early stage.

Key topics of the session included:

  • Planning pathways for international students’ four-year study journey in Taiwan
  • Key competencies and qualities valued by employers
  • Strategies for building experience through internships, clubs, and competitions
  • Trends and opportunities in Taiwan’s job market for international graduates
  • Methods and recommendations for enhancing personal competitiveness

The Office of International Affairs extends its sincere gratitude to CEO Lin Chih-Fu for his insightful sharing and professional guidance. His extensive industry experience provided students with valuable perspectives on career development and future preparation strategies.

Through this event, students gained a clearer understanding of academic and career planning in Taiwan and learned how to effectively utilize their university years to build competencies and practical experience, moving toward becoming competitive international professionals.

The Office of International Affairs will continue to organize diverse career development programs to support students in exploring career paths, strengthening practical skills, and preparing for future opportunities in Taiwan.
