EVENT: 112-1 Cultural Experience Series 4 -  The Philippines Masskara Festival Mask DIY

DATAILS: Every late October is the time for the Masskara Festival in Bacolod, the Philippines. During this time, the streets of Bacolod are filled with joyful atmosphere, people wear smiling masks and dance happily and enthusiastically. In line with the festive atmosphere, Office of International Affairs cooperated with Center of Teacher Education and Career Development In " Arts and Crafts" course, we invite Filipino teacher Angel Tan. After the teacher's explanation, the carnival was intended to banish the dreary atmosphere of the local economic downturn and accidents and deaths, and to bring back the joyful smiles through the making of unique smile masks!

活動說明：每年10月下旬是菲律賓巴科羅的面具嘉年華（Masskara Festival），每到這個時刻，巴科羅的街道上就會充斥著歡樂的氣氛，大家戴著微笑面具，開心地跳著熱情的舞蹈。順應著佳節氣氛，國際處和師培中心合作，在「美勞（小教）」這堂課上邀請菲律賓母語老師陳慈治。在老師的講解下，才知道原來這個嘉年華是希望可以掃去當地經濟低迷及意外傷亡的沉悶氣氛，並透過製作獨特的微笑面具，讓大家重拾歡樂的笑顏！
