為關懷來臺就讀的僑生，緩解學子思鄉之情，本校國際事務處與異國文化研究社於3月25日在博愛校區中正堂舉辦「114年度僑生春節祭祖暨師生聯歡餐會」。此次活動集結來自馬來西亞、香港、澳門、越南、日本、韓國、緬甸、印尼、法國、美國、土耳其等地的境外生及交換學生共襄盛舉，並特別邀請本校郭晉銓主任秘書擔任祭祖典禮主祭，帶領僑外生共同傳承慎終追遠的精神，表達對祖先的崇敬與懷念。

郭晉銓主秘在致詞時提到，邱校長對僑外生活動十分重視，並強調華人文化向來講求「飲水思源」，如何將先人的智慧與精神延續傳承至關重要。他感謝國際事務處與異國文化研究社籌辦此次祭祖活動，讓僑外生能夠在異鄉感受文化的延續與歸屬感。身為中語系書法老師的他，也特別讚賞祭壇上「中華民族列祖列宗之神位」的書法字體極具功力，進一步強調祭祖不僅關乎血脈傳承，更在文學、宗教、藝術乃至社會文化層面上皆具有深遠意義。

祭祖儀式正式開始後，郭晉銓主秘率領王耀俊學務長、劉光夏國際長、紀雅真主任、莊武龍組長及僑外生同學們，由異國文化研究社社長洪斯鎵領誦祝禱文，向「中華民族列祖列宗之神位」獻上茶果，並行三鞠躬禮。典禮現場莊嚴肅穆，氣氛莊重且溫馨。

典禮結束後，活動進入聯歡餐會環節，由社團學長姐精心策劃一系列精彩節目，並準備豐盛佳餚。此外，活動特別為1月至4月生日的同學慶生，全場齊唱多語版生日快樂歌，場面熱鬧歡樂，為當晚活動畫下圓滿句點。

To support overseas Chinese students studying in Taiwan and alleviate their homesickness, the Office of International Affairs and the Intercultural Studies Club jointly hosted the "2025 Overseas Chinese Students' Ancestral Worship and Faculty-Student Banquet" on March 25 at Zhongzheng Hall, Boai Campus. This event brought together international and exchange students from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Myanmar, Indonesia, France, the United States, Turkey, and other regions. Chief Secretary Kuo Chin-Chuan was invited to serve as the main officiant of the ancestral worship ceremony, leading students in honoring and remembering their ancestors while preserving the spirit of reverence and gratitude.

In his speech, Chief Secretary Kuo emphasized President Chiu's commitment to activities for overseas Chinese students and highlighted the deep-rooted value of "remembering one's origins" in Chinese culture. He stressed the importance of passing down the wisdom and spirit of our ancestors and expressed appreciation to the Office of International Affairs and the Intercultural Studies Club for organizing this meaningful event, which allows students to experience cultural continuity and a sense of belonging. As a calligraphy instructor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, he also praised the exquisite calligraphy on the ancestral tablet inscribed with "Spirits of the Forefathers of the Chinese Nation." He further emphasized that ancestral worship is not only about bloodline inheritance but also carries significant literary, religious, artistic, and social connections.

Following the speech, Chief Secretary Kuo led Dean Wang Yao-Chun, Dean Liu Kuang-Hsia, Director Chi Ya-Chen, Director Jhuang Wu-Long, and overseas Chinese students in the ceremony. Under the leadership of Intercultural Studies Club Leader Ang Se-Chia, they recited the prayer text, offered tea and fruits to the "Spirits of the Forefathers of the Chinese Nation," and performed the traditional three-bow ritual. The solemn and respectful ceremony created a touching and meaningful atmosphere.

After the worship ceremony, the event transitioned into a faculty-student banquet. Senior students from the club carefully planned a series of engaging performances and prepared a lavish feast for attendees. Additionally, the event featured a special birthday celebration for students born between January and April, with a multilingual rendition of the "Happy Birthday" song filling the hall with joy and laughter, bringing the evening to a perfect conclusion.
