為協助 115-1 學期境外新生順利適應校園生活，國際事務處特別舉辦校園巡禮與境外新生始業式。本次活動由國際長陳姿伶主持，由國際處同仁、學伴、異國文化研究社共同參與，一同協助提供新生重要的資訊與支持。
上午時段，由國際處同仁、學伴、異國文化研究社共同帶領境外新生參觀本校天母校區與博愛校區，介紹兩校區的行政處室、設施與歷史。
下午時段，由國際長陳姿伶主持境外新生始業式，內容涵蓋新生抵臺後的開學準備、生活適應、居留證、選課等相關訊息，透過國際處同仁用心指導，協助同學們順利展開在臺的學習旅程。此外，迎新小組也特別準備破冰遊戲，帶領國際學生互相認識、了解彼此。
「異國文化研究社」劉鍵豪社長，來自馬來西亞，熱烈歡迎新生踴躍參加社團，藉由社團活動體驗多元文化、拓展國際視野。國際處也特別感謝本校學伴們的努力，他們的支持不僅幫助新生快速適應校園生活，更是推動校內國際交流的重要力量。

To help newly arrived international students smoothly adapt to campus life in the Fall 2026 semester, the Office of International Affairs organized a campus tour and orientation program for new international students. The event was hosted by Dean of International Affairs Tzu-Ling Chen, with staff members from the Office of International Affairs, student buddies, and members of the International Culture Club working together to provide students with essential information and support.
In the morning, staff members from the Office of International Affairs, student buddies, and members of the International Culture Club guided the new international students on tours of both the Tianmu and Bo’ai Campuses. The tours introduced students to the University’s administrative offices, campus facilities, and history, helping them become familiar with their new learning environment.
In the afternoon, Dean of International Affairs Tzu-Ling Chen hosted the orientation session for new international students. The session covered essential information regarding preparations for the new semester, adapting to life in Taiwan, Alien Resident Card (ARC) procedures, course registration, and other important matters. With guidance and support from the Office of International Affairs, students were equipped with the information they need to begin their academic journey in Taiwan smoothly. The orientation team also prepared icebreaker activities, giving international students an opportunity to get to know and connect with one another.
Liew Jian Hau, President of the International Culture Club and a student from Malaysia, warmly welcomed the new students and encouraged them to participate in the club’s activities, where they can experience diverse cultures and broaden their international perspectives. The Office of International Affairs also extends its sincere appreciation to our student buddies for their dedication and support. Their efforts not only help new international students adapt quickly to campus life but also play an important role in promoting international exchange across the University.
