Overseas Chinese Students
To qualify as an Overseas Chinese Students (僑生), you must be:
1. Born in overseas territories or residing overseas for more than 6 years. (8 years for Students undertaking medical courses)
2. Obtained citizenship or permanent resident status of your residing country.

Your application will be submitted through the University Entrance Committee For Overseas Chinese Students (海外聯合招生委員會),
instead of applying to different Universities one by another.
There will be up to 70 choices of all Universities and faculties for you to pick from, all in single submission.
2. Enjoy the full benefits as an Overseas Chinese Students
Every university in Taiwan has its own OCS Service Unit. OCS tuition fees are equivalent to local students' fees.
In addition, OCS automatically qualifies for Health Insurance, specific scholarships and etc.

Therefore, the University will not be involved until a placement is offered to you.
