▊Documents For Step 1
University’s Application System (校務系統) - Application for International Exchange (國際交流申請) ­– Complete the procedure for applying to be an exchange student – Submit your documents online
1.A copy of your academic transcript containing the grade of the previous semester (The academic transcript must contain the ranking from the previous semester.)
2.A copy of your language proficiency
3.Student Exchange Project (出國交換計畫書)
4.A letter of guarantee for the compensation of the public expense of student (交換生公費賠償保證書)
5.Other related forms (e.g. Awards, Certificates, etc) (optional)

 

 

▊Documents For Step 2
Students are required to prepare and submit the following documents to their respective departments. To allow the student to apply for an exchange, students are required to receive a recommendation (which includes signatures) from their respective department, institute and college.

1.A form of Recommendation for the Student Exchange Program (交換學生專案推薦申請表)

2.Report for Student Exchange (學生報告書)(If you did not apply for the first round of selection, please state your reason.)

3.A copy of your previous semester academic transcript containing the grade of the previous semester *The academic transcript must contain the ranking from the previous semester. *Postgraduates students may request the rankings from their respective department.

4.A form of the Student Exchange Project (出國交換計畫書)

5.A letter of guarantee for the compensation of the public expense of student (交換生公費賠償保證書)

6.Other related forms (e.g. Awards, Certificates, etc) (optional)

 

 

▊Before Departure:

1.Outbound Student Exchange  (交換學生出國手續單)

2.Parental Agreement Form for Outbound Student Exchange Program (交換學生家長同意書)  

3.Declaration of Waiver for Student Exchange program (交換生資格放棄聲明書)

4.A letter of guarantee for the compensation of the public expense of student (交換生公費賠償保證書)

▊After Exchange Program:
Please download and fill in the form (University of Taipei - Returning Exchange Student / 臺北市立大學交換學生返國手續單) and fill out the form. The form requires a stamp by student's respective department and administration offices. Upon Completion, please submit the form to us. (The form needs to be sompleted before the exchange program semester ends. The end of Spring and Fall semester would be on January 31st and July 31st)
1.Please submit the following documents at the beginning of the next semester. (Deadline: October 1st and April 1st)
(2)Academic transcript of the semester of the exchange program
(3)2 photos in JPEG form 
2.In regards to students who applied for grants for the student exchange program, please refer to the following website University of Taipei – Grants for Student Exchange Program(本校交換學生獎補助) *The amount of the grant will be determined by the middle of the semester.*The grant will then be received by the end of the semester and announced at the Office of International Affairs’ website.

 

▊Tuition & Courses:
Returning students must pay tuition fees and select their courses in accordance to the regulations of the University of Taipei. If you have any questions on student status and academics, please contact the Office of Academic Affairs.
