活動內容：

臺北市立大學與印度卡帕加姆高等教育學院（KAHE）舉行交流會議，旨在建立姊妹校合作關係，探討學生交換、學術研究及學分互換等合作可能性。

KAHE成立於1995年，擁有4個學院和72個學位課程，學生人數約10,000名，研究成果豐碩，擁有超過6,000篇學術出版物及121項專利。KAHE積極推動國際合作，今日與北市大討論多項合作方案，包括學生短期交換及學位學習、教授間的共同研究項目，以及教師授課交流。KAHE亦提出重點合作領域，如物理、化學、半導體、環境衛生及食品科學，並計劃建立2+2或3+1合作辦學模式，吸引印度學生來台完成部分學業。同時，KAHE願意協助北市大在印度推廣華語教學，並為台灣學生提供英語課程及文化適應支持。

此次會議達成初步的合作可能並簽署合作備忘錄(MOU)，未來，雙方期待深化合作，在環境衛生與食品科技等全球議題上攜手創新，並通過學術與文化交流，促進學生的國際化視野與就業競爭力，共同打造國際教育合作典範。

University of Taipei and Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) held a meeting to establish a partnership and explore potential collaboration in areas such as student exchange, academic research, and credit transfer.

Established in 1995, KAHE comprises 4 faculties and offers 72 degree programs to approximately 10,000 students. The institution has achieved significant research milestones, with over 6,000 academic publications and 121 patents. Actively promoting international collaboration, KAHE engaged in discussions with University of Taipei about various cooperation initiatives, including short-term student exchanges, degree programs, joint research projects among faculty members, and teaching exchanges.

KAHE also proposed key collaborative areas such as physics, chemistry, semiconductors, environmental hygiene, and food science. Additionally, the university outlined plans for "2+2" or "3+1" joint degree programs, enabling Indian students to complete part of their studies in Taiwan. KAHE expressed its willingness to assist University of Taipei in promoting Mandarin education in India and to provide Taiwanese students with English-taught courses and cultural adaptation support.

The meeting resulted in the establishment of preliminary collaboration possibilities and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). In the future, both institutions aim to deepen their partnership, fostering innovation in global issues such as environmental hygiene and food technology. Through academic and cultural exchanges, they seek to enhance students' international perspectives and competitiveness, setting a benchmark for international educational collaboration.
