英國諾丁漢大學(University of Nottingham)於3月3日蒞臨北市大天母校區,雙方就未來學術合作展開深入交流。會談中,校方代表與北市大校長探討雙聯學制的可行性,期望為學生提供更寬廣的國際學習途徑。本次討論的雙聯學制計畫,將由本校城市發展學系與諾丁漢大學永續都市設計碩士班合作推動。根據初步規劃,學生可先於本校修讀城市發展學系相關領域核心課程3年,隨後前往諾丁漢大學攻讀為期1年的碩士,取得永續都市設計碩士學位。諾丁漢大學代表亦透過此機會,向本校學生詳細介紹「永續都市設計計畫(Sustainable Urban Design Program)」的申請資格與課程內容,並鼓勵對都市發展與永續設計有興趣的同學踴躍申請,共同開創國際學術交流的新契機。

Event Details:
On March 3, 2024, a delegation from the University of Nottingham visited the University of Taipei to engage in in-depth discussions on academic collaboration. During the meeting, representatives from both institutions, including the university president, explored the feasibility of a dual degree program, aiming to expand international learning and development opportunities for students through cross-border cooperation.
The proposed dual degree program will be a collaboration between the Department of Urban Development at the University of Taipei and the Master's program in Sustainable Urban Design at the University of Nottingham. Under the preliminary plan, students will first complete core courses in urban development at the University of Taipei before advancing to the University of Nottingham for a one-year master's program, earning a Master’s degree in Sustainable Urban Design.
Following the meeting, representatives from the University of Nottingham provided students with a detailed introduction to the program’s application requirements and curriculum, encouraging those interested in urban development and sustainable design to apply and seize this valuable international academic exchange opportunity.
