秘魯南方科學大學（Universidad Científica del Sur）Karina Chuquispuma 博士於3月18日（星期二）上午拜訪北市大，旨在深化雙方學術合作與友誼，並探討未來合作可能性。

本校國際處在迎賓後進行學校代表正式介紹。隨後，北市大與秘魯南方科學大學完成合作備忘錄（MOU）及交換生合約（MOA）的續約程序，象徵雙方合作關係的延續與深化，為未來的學術與學生交流奠定更穩固的基礎。續約儀式後，雙方互贈禮品並合影留念，紀錄此重要時刻。

透過簡報介紹，秘魯南方科學大學環境工程學系主任 Dr. Karina Chuquispuma 詳細介紹該校的辦學理念與學術特色，並透過影片展示環境科學學院及環境工程學系的教學與研究重點，讓北市大代表更深入了解該校的發展現況與優勢領域。

隨後，雙方與北市大城市發展系、物理與化學科學系及地球與生命科學系的系主任進行學術座談，針對都市發展、環境保護及自然資源管理等研究焦點與挑戰交換意見，並分享研究與教學經驗。

最後，雙方皆表達未來持續深化合作的意願，並初步規劃可能的合作方向，包括聯合研究、師生交流及課程合作等。此次訪問不僅鞏固雙方合作基礎，也為未來國際學術合作開創新局。

Event Name: The Visit of Universidad Científica del Sur: Completion of MoU Agreement Renewal and Academic Exchange

Dr. Karina Chuquispuma from Universidad Científica del Sur visited University of Taipei on the morning of March 18th (Tuesday). The visit aimed to strengthen academic collaboration and friendship between the two institutions while exploring potential future cooperation.

After a welcoming ceremony, representatives from both universities were formally introduced. Universidad Científica del Sur and UT then completed the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for student exchange, symbolizing the continuation and deepening of their cooperative relationship. This renewal lays a solid foundation for future academic and student exchanges. Following the signing ceremony, both parties exchanged gifts and took a commemorative photo to mark this important occasion.

During the presentation session, Dr. Karina Chuquispuma, Director of the Department of Environmental Engineering, provided a detailed introduction to the university's educational philosophy and academic strengths. A video showcasing the teaching and research focus of the School of Environmental Sciences and the Department of Environmental Engineering was presented, offering Taipei City University representatives deeper insight into the university’s current development and key strengths.

Subsequently, both sides held an academic exchange session with the deans of the Department of Urban Development, Department of Physics and Chemistry, and Department of Earth and Life Sciences at Taipei City University. The discussion focused on current research priorities and challenges related to urban development, environmental protection, and natural resource management. Both parties shared their experiences in research and teaching.

Finally, both universities expressed a strong commitment to further strengthening their cooperation and discussed potential future collaborations, including joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, and curriculum development. This visit not only reinforced the foundation of their partnership but also opened new avenues for international academic collaboration.
