【南佛羅里達大學Dr. Yi-hsin Chen受邀來訪，建立兩校未來合作契機】

本校學習與媒材設計學系黃幸美教授邀請美國南佛羅里達大學 (University of South Florida) Dr. Yi-hsin Chen (Professor, educational measurement and research) 至本校心理與諮商學系及教育學系演講及分享研究成果, 趁此機會拜會國際處討論兩校未來建立實質合作之可能性。

美國南佛羅里達大學成立於1956年，隸屬於佛羅里達州立大學系統，坐落於美國佛羅里達州坦帕市，另在佛羅里達州聖彼得斯堡和薩拉索塔設有分校區。該校屬美國大學協會成員，各項綜合排名如下：世界大學學術排名(ARWU)主排名301–400, 《QS》主排名563,《THE》主排名251–300, 《美國新聞》排名89（2024），世界排名271（2024年）。現共有14個學院，2023-2024年註冊學生計48,732名，教職員1萬6千餘人。

為促成兩校未來之合作，經討論將由本校教育學系、心理與諮商學系及學習與媒材設計學系開始, 與南佛羅里達大學相關領域系所合作, 研議教師交流或課程合作之可行性, 期盼透過此合作，為雙方師生提供更多元的教育與研究機會，促進雙方更深入的國際交流與學術發展, 透過實質互動與交流，開展未來更多學術合作。

Event: [International Exchange] A Visit from University of South Florida

On June 5, the Office of International Affairs held a meeting with Professor Yi-Hsin Chen from University of South Florida, USA. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions regarding potential collaboration in short-term academic trip, faculty exchange and online exchange programs.

The University of South Florida (USF) is a public research university with campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee, Florida. It's a large university serving nearly 50,000 students and offers a wide range of academic programs. USF is known for its strong research focus and is recognized as one of the top research universities in the United States. 

The meeting was hosted by Dr. Kuang-Hsia Liu, Dean of Office of International Affairs. UTaipei expressed strong interest in developing bilateral cooperation and looks forward to building a stable exchange model. The academic exchange between two institutions will provide invaluable opportunities for students and faculty to expand their knowledge, gain international experience, and contribute to global educational collaboration.
